I'm Hayley Boreen.

Born and raised in Wisconsin ("up north" a ways),

I relocated to Colorado in 2016. My portfolio site is as casual as I am in the photo to the right, but continue scrolling to learn more about what I contribute professionally.

Throughout my career, I've held a few different positions and titles.

They've been wonderful experiences that contributed to developing in three core areas.

My first career project management experience was in print production and manufacturing. I brought those skills into my marketing roles by optimizing creative projects and

 establishing best practices. In 2022, I formalized my PM credentials with Project Management Institute's PMP certification, renewed in March 2025.

Operations Management

Upon relocating to CO, I shifted my career direction to incorporate marketing and diversify my creative experience. But after six years in that space, I learned that my passion lies at the intersection of creative, project, and operations management: optimizing and facilitating change management and continuous improvement efforts.

Every position I've held since college has helped evolve my perception of the creative process. Everyone has a slightly different way they create something unique. My goal is to create and foster the ideal space for each individual to make their best work and support bringing those ideas to fruition and perfection.

September 2022-April 2025

Operations Manager

ICARMANDIAS (Broward County, FL)

  • Planned and executed process improvement projects, engineering workflows in a tech stack including monday.com, Google Workspace, Trainual, Miro, etc.

  • Eliminated cross-department meetings dedicated to billing questions and discrepancies by employing extensive monday formulas to automatically update account standings and review complex billing schedule status at-a-glance

  • Increased Media Associate workload efficiency by streamlining the procedure for presenting opportunities up the chain of approval

  • As a part of monday.com’s Nonprofit Partner program, led project, provided training, and built a custom board workflow for a Texas-based non-profit that aided refugees and asylum seeking families.

May 2017-June 2022

Marketing Manager

HAZEL'S BEVERAGE WORLD (Boulder, CO)

  • Leading the Marketing Department, managed the workloads and creative direction of the graphic designer and videographer

  • Started and managed video content creation and distribution to increase reach of weekly promotion and product features

  • Gathered sales data post-campaign to analyze and develop a visual presentation for management review

  • Managed B2B relationships with vendors and supplier for event partnerships and giveaways and with advertising publications to buy, schedule, and proof ads

October 2016-March 2017

Marketing Coordinator

YELLOW SCENE MAGAZINE (Erie, CO)

  • Managed cross-departmental workloads with Design, Sales, and Accounting to promote articles and events, deliver contracted advertiser promotion, and manage budgets

  • Planned and executed additional Yellow Scene events, booking speakers, content collaboration and production, advertising, ticket sales, day-of logistics, and post-event reporting

  • Developed omni-channel content strategy and engagement

June 2015-May 2016

Project Manager

IMAGINE PRINT SOLUTIONS (Shakopee, MN)

  • End-to-end project management of temporary and permanent point-of-purchase displays and custom store-front products

  • Managed campaigns for a high-profile client with hundreds of stores per region, and three regions globally; campaigns ran simultaneously with variable assets distributed to each location

Design Print Lab Assistant

UW-STOUT ART & DESIGN DEPARTMENT (WI)

  • Assisted art department students and faculty with converting digital art concepts to tangible, printed artwork

  • Educated students on highly specialized printing and
    finishing processes

  • Troubleshooted printer issues on both Mac and Windows OS

Sales & Marketing - Intern

LAKE COUNTY PRESS (Waukegan, IL)

  • Designed in-house marketing materials, including a large-format wall mural design for the digital press room wall

  • Self taught Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro to create an animated video for the annual Sales Team performance event (originally a Powerpoint, was given creative freedom to experiment with presentation material)

  • Managed print production projects from inquiry, through estimating, prepress and proofing, production, finishing,
    and delivery

  • Provided knowledge to customers on company and industry standards and manufacturing capabilities for printed work
